ELECTRONIC IMAGE INTEGRATION VIEWER. VOLUME I.

Abstract

This first volume (of two) describes the design and construction of a system for correlating and integrating two photographic transparencies. Sources of random noise such as film graininess and atmospheric effects are attenuated by the integration procedure, thus improving the quality of high resolution photography. The equipment uses a two channel electro-optical approach, and performs correlation and integration electronically.
