HYDRAULIC PLUMBING FOR ADVANCED AEROSPACE VEHICLES.

Abstract

This program is an investigation of Hydraulic Plumbing for Advanced Aerospace Vehicles. The system is designed for 4,000 psi operating pressure with a fluit temperature range of -65 F to +500 F. The program is divided into 3 phases which are: Phase I - The determination of hypothetical high performance air vehicle requirements, the procurement of tubing, and the design and selection of fittings for test. Phase II - The test of system components to provide basic data and fabrication techniques for installation of titanium plumbing in an air vehicle. Phase III - The installation of titanium plumbing in a simulator and simulator test.
