Abstract

This specification describes the automatic flight control system (AFCS) and establishes its requirements and testing objectives. Dynamic and static accuracies, as well as a complete description of all the control modes, are included. System performance requirements established herein are design objectives to be applied to the prototype airplanes. Application of these requirements to production airplane design will be established after prototype flight testing. (Author)
