COMMERCIAL SUPERSONIC TRANSPORT PROGRAM. PHASE II-C. INTERIM AIRCRAFT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT REPORT. AIR DATA SYSTEM PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION.

Abstract

This specification defines preliminary performance, design, and construction requirements applicable to the air data system for the supersonic transport. The air data system is comprised of the following items: Pitot-static installation, Total temperature probe, Air data computer, Pressure altitude indicator, Airspeed indicator, Mach number indicator, Total temperature indicator, True airspeed indicator, Static air temperature indicator, and Angle-of-attack sensor. System performance requirements established herein are design objectives to be applied to the prototype airplanes. Application of these requirements to production airplane design will be established after prototype flight testing. (Author)
