EVALUATION - LITTER DEVICES, HELICOPTER HOISTING OPERATIONS (ACA-2/67).
Abstract
The purpose of this evaluation was to determine the operational suitability of a prototype litter device. This lifting device was designed to provide a means for screening and protecting a casualty from further injury, due to scraping against trees or rocks, while being hoisted to a helicopter.
