RESEARCH TO DETERMINE THE EFFECTS OF SURFACE CATALYTICITY ON MATERIALS BEHAVIOR IN DISSOCIATED GAS STREAMS.

Abstract

Oxygen atom recombination coefficients at 298 K have been measured for quartz, tantalum, titanium, and molybdenum in a fast flow apparatus. Air afterglow and NO2 titration were used to monitor relative atom concentrations along the tubular flow reactor. (Author)
