LIQUID ROCKET SYSTEM CONJUGATE STRUCTURE AND TANKAGE PROGRAM.

Abstract

The objective of the Conjugate Structure and Tankage Program is to acquire design and test data that will demonstrate and verify the potential value of titanium 'Jaffee-metal' (sandwich structure material) in obtaining a higher strength-to-weight ratio and a higher stage mass fraction for liquid rocket system structures and tankage. The object of this procurement will be to provide the structure and tankage assembly fabricated from titanium 'Jaffee-metal' for use in future planned test and evaluation.
