INFRARED STUDY OF THE LATTICE VIBRATIONS OF ORGANIC MOLECULAR CRYSTALS.

Abstract

The infrared lattice spectra of naphthalene, anthracene and stilbene were obtained through the use of infrared and Raman spectroscopy. An attempt has been made to correlate the lattice vibrations with the thermodynamic properties of the molecular crystals. (Author)
