INVESTIGATION OF A 30,000 RPM TURBINE-DRIVEN HYDRAULIC PUMP.

Abstract

Results of the sixth quarter effort on the program to develop a high-temperature turbine-speed hydraulic pump are presented. Thin pump operation to date was summarized. Additional tests run on the deformable cam ring established good correlation between measured and calculated stresses and demonstrated its ability to undergo many cycles of displacement change. Layout design and details of the full-scale turbine-driven pump were completed.
