A NEW, RAPID METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATION OF BLOOD PH IN SITU,

Abstract

An investigation was made to develop a new electrode assembly that permits instantaneous pH measurements on blood in situ. The new system permits instantaneous in situ blood pH determinations, thereby obviating the temperature and other problems of previous techniques. The apparatus and the technique are described and their major features discussed.
