RADC UNANALYZED NONELECTRONIC PART FAILURE RATE DATA INTERIM REPORT NEDCO 1.

Abstract

This report contains 17,702 nonelectronic part line entries with associated failure rates in failures per million hours. The printout provides no entries for Manufacturer's Reference Code, Environmental and Application stresses, Failure Mode, Creditability Scale, and Confidence Limits. However, work now under way will provide many of these entries in future printouts. This compilation is not intended as the end item or even a finished by-product of the present investigation. The collection of data will continue and in conjunction with the data presented in this compilation provide a data basis for engineering and statistical analysis to determine, if possible, part failure rates vs. time and stress, the shape of failure rate curves, part failure modes, part failure mechanisms, and part application data.
