Abstract
A method of deterministic synthesis of a sampled-data corrector is described for control with a continuous linear system. The method employs a modified minimum criterion for the squared error integral of the controlled quantity. The large transient overshoot usually obtained when this criterion is used is eliminated by disregarding the squared control errors in the first sampling period. (Author)
