MICROWAVE TRANSISTORS.

Abstract

Double-diffused NPN planar germanium transistors with 0.25-micrometers base depth were fabricated and found to have cutoff frequencies up to 8.5 GHz. A tuning range of slightly greater than one octave was achieved with a Teflon series-tuned circuit (1.2 to 2.4 GHz). (Author)
