PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF TWO REACTION TURBINES.

Abstract

A series of air tests with two different turbines was carried out on the Turbine Test Rig at Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California. This study is primarily concerned with the data reduction and performance analysis of these turbines. Recent changes to the Test Rig are described, and performance predictions for geometrically similar turbines operating with media other than air are also presented. (Author)
