ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION OF TACTICAL PENETRATION AIDS PENVAL PROGRAM DESCRIPTION OF A SINGLE-PENETRATOR, MULTIPLE-PENETRATION-AID, MULTIPLE-THREAT MODEL FOR EVALUATING PENETRATION-AID EFFECTIVENESS.

Abstract

This report describes a digital-computer simulation model representing the penetration of an enemy ground-based weapon-system complex by a single penetrator aircraft using multiple penetration aids. The weapon complex is composed of surface-to-air missile and antiaircraft artillery type weapons. Since this is a model description report, the model itself is emphasized rather than its use. A demonstration run is provided to illustrate how the model works; however, the input parameter values used for this demonstration run are artificial and do not necessarily represent characteristics of tactical aircraft, penetration aids, or enemy threats.
