SPECTRUM SIGNATURE REPORT ON THE AN/GRC-27 COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM.

Abstract

This report describes the spectrum signature measurements of an AN/GRC-27 Communications System. The data collected in these measurements describe the interference and susceptibility characteristics of a commonly used UHF Communications System. Included in this report are the test equipment and test procedures used to obtain the data. Radio Set AN/GRC-27 is the ground-based portion of a UHF ground-to-air communications link. It consists of a Transmitter (T-217/GR); Receiver (R-278B/GR), Modulator-Power Supply (MD-129A/GR), Antennas (AT-197 or AS-505), associated interconnecting cables, and remote control circuitry.
