A MONOGRAPH ON TRUNCATED SEQUENTIAL TESTS

Abstract

This monograph presents an exposition of the subject of truncated sequential tests. Although the main intent of this report is tutorial in nature, some previously unpublished results have been included. Special emphasis has been given to the following topics: (1) the practical necessity for truncation; (2) the effects of truncation on the performance of the test; (3) the results of computer simulation; and (4) rules of truncation and application of principles of design.
