1 KW KU-BAND PULSED COAXIAL MAGNETRON.

Abstract

This report describes the work accomplished during the second quarter of a two year program to develop a 1 kw, Ku-band coaxial magnetron. The design of the early developmental models is presented along with the electrical evaluation test results obtained from these initial tubes. Problems associated with the fabrication of the anode system using both hobbing and jig brazing techniques are discussed. Further detailed information relating to the constructional details incorporated in the initial design tubes is also presented. (Author)
