RELIABILITY ANALYSIS DOCUMENT - AUTOMATIC FLIGHT CONTROL SUBSYSTEM.

Abstract

Analysis of the Automatic Flight Control Subsystem of the Boeing Model B-2707 airplane is performed to determine compliance with reliability goals. Potential reliability problems are identified and necessary engineering action required to eliminate or minimize problem areas are documented. Boeing subsystem allocations of 17.0 delays and 9.5 deviations per 100,000 missions will be attained by redundancy and careful design to reduce tolerance build-up. (Author)
