DESIGN, FABRICATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF A SINGLE EXPLOSION CELL FOR THE REPETITIVE EXPLOSION DEVICE FOR SOIL DISPLACEMENT.

Abstract

A mechanism for excavation and displacement of soil by the direct action of high pressure gases resulting from combustion of air and hydrocarbon fuels is described. The task herein accomplished was the design, fabrication and proof testing by firing of a single, explosion cell of 19 cubic feet capacity as a unit element of this mechanism. (Author)
