AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT SERVICEABILITY CRITERIA: AN EVALUATION. VOLUME II.
Abstract
This volume contains in detail the data collected and analyzed in the study of automotive equipment serviceability criteria. They are presented here both as backup for the main body of the report and as a record for use by cognizant Army organizations. Appendix D records item scores for each vehicle studied and the 90-day history of maintenance with respect to these items. Appendixes E and F, respectively, show how many days and miles following ESC rating (by color category) before a maintenance replacement action took place. Appendix G is a listing in FSN sequence of the parts replaced in the vehicles observed during this study. Appendix H contains those parts replaced that, in the combined judgment of representatives of the Army Maintenance Board, the Maintenance Division of the Army Tank-Automotive Command, and RAC, affect ESC component operation or condition and, therefore rating. These parts are listed in recorded number sequence and separately by the ESC number affected. These listings may prove of value during future revision to ESC regulations, readiness instructions, and repair-parts management. (Author)
