NAVSHIPS 1000 REVISION STUDY,

Abstract

The possibility of using an optical scanner for extracting fleet dive information is explored. An experimental diving log form was designed and given to U. S. Navy divers for evaluation. Based upon the results obtained, a revision of the fleet diving log (NAVSHIPS 1000) is presented along with the supportive information for inclusion in the U. S. Navy Diving Manual. (Author)
