The eighth quarterly report on this contract describes progress under the following contract tasks: (1) General Nonlinear Interaction Theories for Klystron and Traveling Wave Devices; (2) Nonlinear Boundary Value Problems in Electron and Plasma Devices; (3) Beam Stability in the Presence of Large RF Signals; (4) Beam Analyzer Studies on Beams Modulated by Large Amplitude RF Signals; (5) Digital Computer Electron Gun Programs; (6) Relativistic Traveling-Wave Tube Theory; and (7) Helicon Wave Propagation in Solid-State Plasmas.
