APPLICATION OF PARAMETER PLANE TECHNIQUES IN OSCILLATOR CIRCUITS.

Abstract

Up to now, oscillating circuits have been studied from the point of view of frequency changing as a function of one parameter of the circuit. In this work the author attempts to study the frequency variation of oscillating circuits containing an active element when two parameters of the circuit or of the active element are continuously adjustable while, in certain cases, a third parameter is incremented. Studying oscillators from this point of view is quite challenging because it is usually the case that in circuits like these more than one parameter can be changed. So in the present text an attempt is made to adapt the newly developed parameter plane techniques to the study of oscillating circuits and at the same time we test the validity of this technique for circuits containing active elements.
