U.S. GOVERNMENT METALWORKING PROCESSES AND EQUIPMENT PROGRAM.

Abstract

This sixth status report summarizes the research of interest to the U. S. Government's Metalworking Processes and Equipment Program (MPEP) for the last 6-month period (July - December, 1966). This summary is in the form of topical discussions and is presented under the following subject areas: (1) Effects of Metallurgical Variables on Deformation and Fracture; (2) Effects of External Variables on Deformation and Fracture; (3) Mechanics of Processing; and (4) Metalworking Process Development.
