ANALYSES OF ELASTO-PLASTIC PLATES WITH CRACKS.

Abstract

The stress and strain in an elasto-plastic plate containing a crack have been obtained. The large deformations and general work-hardening have been taken into consideration. In addition, the results are used to predict a fracture stress as a function of the material's mechanical properties. (Author)
