NOTES ON ENGINEERING MECHANICS IN FINLAND.

Abstract

This report describes research activities of the Inst. of Technology and the State Inst. for Technical Research in Finland. It describes the Otaniemi plan for the program whereby the facilities of the two institutions will be moved from Helsinki to Otaniemi. Current and recent work of outstanding researchers at both institutions are reviewed. (Author)
