LOW COST SOLUTIONS TO CURRENT OPERATIONAL PROBLEMS (PROJECT POORBOY),

Abstract

The report summarizes efforts directed toward the generation of ideas, concepts, procedures, or equipment which may provide low cost, quick-fix solutions to operational problems of limited warfare. The restricted scope of the research and the 'low-cost' criteria for solutions are unique. Emphasis is on simple devices or techniques which may aid U.S. operational forces to more effectively carry out their mission or to deal with problems related to the environment or the enemy.
