UHF SINGLE FREQUENCY REPEATER.

Abstract

A single frequency repeater has been developed and tested to a limited degree. It is an active repeater in which the receiver and transmitter are alternately turned on and off at a 12 KHz rate. The repeater operates on any discrete frequency in the UHF (225-250 MHz) frequency band with a sensitivity of 2 microvolts and a useful transmitted power of 1.5 W (amplitude modulated). Some potential operational problems are identified and briefly discussed. (Author)
