INVESTIGATION OF A 30,000 RPM TURBINE-DRIVEN HYDRAULIC PUMP.

Abstract

Results of the seventh quarter effort on the program to develop a high-temperature turbine-speed variable-displacement hydraulic pump are presented in this report. Fabrication of the pump was approximately 60 percent completed. A new method of forming vane sockets was investigated and will be utilized in making the pump vanes. A new tip configuration was conceived and will be incorporated. The high-speed drive for the pump test facility has been completed and successfully operated briefly for checkout. (Author)
