Abstract
This paper describes a series of tests conducted to assess the suitability of the toroidal plasma betatron covered in German Federal Patents 873,594; 905,766; 922,120; 905,763; and 911,764 for the generation of strong fast-electron fluxes. A betatron was built, instrumented, and operated. (Author)
