TRINIDAD TRACKER IMPROVED RANGE RESOLUTION PROGRAM.

Abstract

The Trinidad Tracking Radar, part of the Eastern Missile Test Range, was modified to imporve its range accuracy and resolution. A 4 MHz linear FM ramp was added which yielded 180 ft. range resolution and 35 ft. range accuracy resulting in a pulse compression ration of 8,000 to 1.
