FAR INFRARED STUDY OF THE METAL COMPLEXES OF N-BENZOYL-N- PHENYLHYDROXYLAMINE.

Abstract

The infrared spectra in the 1/700 to 1/300 cm region of n-benzoyl-n- phenylhydroxylamine (BPHA) and twenty three of its metal complexes have been obtained. Bands occurring consistently at each of ten different frequencies in this region were found in all spectra studied. An attempt has been made to assign these bands to the various modes of complexes.
