MATERIALS RESEARCH IN PORTUGAL AND SPAIN.

Abstract

The beginnings of Basic Research in Materials is described in both Spain and Portugal. Although work is more extensive in Spain, it is quite scattered and does not apparently have the leadership or planning evident in the nucleation of Portugal's smaller effort. (Author)
