Abstract

Two London conferences on noise, industrial, road and aircraft, dealt with means for analyzing and measuring noise to determine physical characteristics which relate to subjective degree of annoyance and to structural fatigue. Methods of control covered existing laws, monitoring and reporting and design for noise reduction.
