DISK TIMING TRADE-OFF STUDY,

Abstract

The memo contains an analysis of the derivation of timing from the disk and the distribution of this timing in the MPCU. The memo attempts to answer the following questions: (1) Can two timing tracks be utilized more economically and/or reliably than four timing tracks. (2) What type of pulse generating circuit is best suited for timing generation and distribution.
