UPDATED MASTER LIBRARY TAPE FOR PHOTRAN.

Abstract

The interactions considered in the PHOTRAN program include coherent and incoherent scattering, photoelectric effect, pair production, fluorescence and annihilation. The detailed cross-section data and other related information for all interactions and fluorescence radiation for the elements are stored as tables on a Master Library Tape (MLT). The original MLT (15 November 1965) contained data for 27 elements. This list has now been extended to a total of 77 elements. New fluorescent data of Fink et al. (1966) were incorporated for all 77 elements when available. In addition, data for multiple fluorescent lines about the K-edge have been entered for all the elements 20 < or = Z > or = 94. The appendix of the present document presents a complete listing of the most recent MLT. (Author)
