MICROWAVE DEVICES UTILIZING ORIENTED CUBIC FERROMAGNETIC MATERIALS.

Abstract

Effort is concerned with the alignment of polycrystalline cubic ferrimagnetic materials (ferrites and garnets). In this report, alignment factors are reported as a function of processing parameters (presintering and firing temperature) for lithium ferrite, nickel ferrite, nickel-zinc ferrite, Ni-Cu-Co-Al ferrite, YIG and YGdAlIG. A summary of the resonance field and linewidth data measured on these materials is presented.
