REMOTE-CONTROL MODELS AS SUBMERSIBLE SIMULATORS

Abstract

The remotely controlled operations of one-tenth scale models of a submersible under construction at the Naval Ordnance Test Station are described. A description of the control system and the resulting maneuverability of the model is given, and potential uses for the low-cost simulator are suggested.
