DATA STRUCTURING STUDY FOR INTERFERENCE PREDICTION ANALYSIS.

Abstract

This report presents the results of a study into the feasibility of applying data organization and management techniques to the Interference Prediction Analysis Data at Rome Air Development Center. Specifically, the techniques embodied in DM-1, the Data Management System designed for Rome Air Development Center, Reliability Central Group were applied to this data set. The report describes the general characteristics and capabilities of DM-1. Detailed data structures are presented with the rationale for the specific organization selected. Methods of entering programs into the system and operating procedures are defined. An implementation plan is presented which describes an orderly, efficient transition from the present analytic capability through several intermediary phases, until the desired operational environment within DM-1 is achieved.
