INTEGRATED ENGINEERING AND SERVICE TEST OF PREFABRICATED ALUMINUM LANDING MATS.

Abstract

Phases I and II of the Integrated Engineering and Service Tests of Prefabricated Aluminum Landing Mats were conducted by the US Army Armor and Engineer Board and US Army General Equipment Test Activity from 15 Aug 66 to 1 Mar 67. Field testing was conducted at Dyess AFB, Texas. The objectives of the test were to determine whether four types of mat, MX19, MX18B, MX18C and AM2 (2-piece, welded), met the requirements of the approved QMR, and their suitability to support AF F-4C, C130, and C-7A aircraft; US Army OV-1 and CH-47 aircraft; and Navy F-4B aircraft.
