SOVIET ACTINOMETRIC DATA. VOLUME II: COMPILATION OF DATA.

Abstract

Actinometric data recorded over up to a six-year period at 27 Soviet weather stations are analyzed to determine the scattering and absorption properties of the atmosphere and clouds over the Soviet Union. Using measured values of total, diffuse, direct normal incidence and reflected radiation, a computer program calculated the daily and annual variations and the seasonal averages of the scattering and absorption properties of the atmosphere and clouds over the U. S. S. R. Results are presented in graphical an map form in Volume I. The numerical values of computed data for each weather station are contained in Volume II. (Author)
