Abstract

Research at the Neuropsychiatric Research Unit, Carshalton, Surrey, is reviewed. The Unit is conducting research projects on the pathophysiology of hypoxia, the chemistry of brain functioning in health and disease, metabolic processes of mentally ill patients, and psychological correlates of physiological changes.
