AN IMPROVED LINEAR PROGRAMMING SCHEDULING MODEL (MODEL II).

Abstract

This note describes an optimizing method for scheduling a group of tasks which can be defined by earliest starting date, latest completion date, duration of the task, and resources required to accomplish the task. The method uses the linear programming algorithm to optimize one objective such as minimizing manpower requirements. (Author)
