EXPERIMENTAL WOOD PRESERVATIVE SYSTEMS: TREATMENT, FY-66; DRIVING, FY-67.

Abstract

As a part of Work Unit Y-R005-07-01-007, Chemical Wood Preservative Treatments, the Laboratory exposed in Pearl Harbor 20-foot piles that have been treated with experimental treating solutions. Some piless received a single treatment and some received double treatment. The first treatment was generally a water solution. The second treatment, where employed, was a solution of a water insoluble material in an organic solvent. (Author)
