ON THE STABILITY OF COMPLEX METALLIC PHASES.
Abstract
The work herein described deals with the preparation of samples in three component systems of type: transition element - meta-metal - nonmetal; transition metal I - transition element II - nonmetal; transition element - nonmetal I - nonmetal II; transition element I - transition element II - meta metal. The main goal was a systematic search for complex phases and their characterization by means of X-ray technique. Some of the complex phases found were also measured with respect to their magnetic behavior. For various ternary systems the equilibria have been established at one typical temperature section.
