SURVEY OF FUEL ARRAYS IGNITABLE BY A NUCLEAR WEAPON THERMAL PULSE IN ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO.

Abstract

A sampled-data survey was carried out to determine the densities of occurrence and critical ignition energies of exterior and interior fuel arrays in 11 land use classes in the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico. A complementary study was carried out to investigate the feasibility of using aerial photographic methods to estimate exposures of fuel arrays to a thermal pulse. (Author)
