ARRAY APPLICATIONS TO SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS PROBLEMS: PHASED TRANSMISSION AND MULTIPLE ACCESS TECHNIQUES.

Abstract

The work involved major modifications of The Satellite Communications Facility (four thirty-foot parabolic antennas with equipment and building complex), the study of phase-coherent transmission from several large movable apertures, the study of multiple access to a single-channel hard-limiting satellite (with emphasis on time division multiple access techniques), and the design and execution of associated experiments. Reference is made to technical reports, where applicable, for a more detailed presentation of results.
