Abstract
The conference was held in an attempt to communicate technological developments of British Government laboratories to physicists in industry. Emphasis was on use, cost and impact of developments. Plans to publish proceedings of the conference are uncertain, so this report tries to cover the broad range of subjects as completely as possible; 12 papers are reviewed in some detail; six others are listed by title and author at the end.
