THE STIMULATED RAMAN EFFECT IN AN OFF-AXIS RESONATOR.

Abstract

This study concerns the behavior of the stimulated Raman effect in an off-axis resonator. Measurements were made on benzene, a self-focusing liquid, and cyclohexane, a non-self-focusing liquid, with the result that the experimental data for both materials compares very favorably with a single theory.
